Working Well: Employability Skills in Action

The Brief
A DVD learning resource was required to assist young workers to adjust to the world of work and highlight important skills they will need.
The Task
We devised a script involving three scenarios in which young workers might find themselves when first starting out in the workplace, in the industries of hospitality, retail and entertainment. The stories show examples of how these young workers struggle with their roles and responsibilities at first, but with some guidence and practice of simple employability skills they can dramaticaly improve their work and their chances of remaining employed.
The Result
An insightful DVD for both young workers entering the workforce and their managers or supervisors, helping each to understand the others situation and improve their working skills and relationships.
