Adult Literacy and numeracy practices

The Brief
To produce a DVD to demonstrate good adult literacy and numeracy practices.
The Task
In close consultation with UTS, we filmed in several Sydney classrooms. Ranging from a numeracy class for mature age students to a high school equivalent class in a drop-in centre in inner city Glebe.
We filmed documentary-style to achieve a feeling of being in the classroom with the teachers and students.
The Result
The four case studies offer a unique insight into the work of great teachers.
The DVD was launched and is in use in universities now.
