Interview Skills For Mature Age Job Seekers
This fictionalised video kit portrays the performance of four mature age job seekers from diverse backgrounds being interviewed for a customer service position. Based on experimental learning strategies, the program is designed to help job seekers to experience what it is like to trade places with the boss in an interview, allowing them to understand the attributes that an employer looks for in an applicant.
It is aimed at people attending job training networks, labour market skills training, and English language/vocational English programs. The video package includes a resource booklet with suggested exercises for teachers. This program was developed by NSW TAFE Southern Sydney Institute "You're the Boss" Video Project Team.
