Scope

The 24 chapters of this DVD spans the making of four episodes of the series "MDA" during a four-week period of production (see flow-chart below). Each chapter is filmed in verite style, just as events occur. There different chapters cover production planning, readings, preliminary rehearsals, studio rehearsals, staging and blocking, and how the camera is variously placed for "two-camera" coverage. (Multi-camera techniques similar to "All Saints" "Neighbours" and "Home and Away"). Also included are chapters on auditioning, editing and sound post-production.
